More than anything else, it is good design that adds real and lasting value to every project. Good design is not a style or method of construction. It is the result of a disciplined approach to creating and problem solving.

Good design principles apply to all projects no matter how large or small. Over the years Greg has worked with clients from all walks of life and on every possible type of site. Each project is unique with its own set of challenges and opportunities. Through the consistent application of sound design principles the result is a portfolio of legacy homes that possess real and lasting value.

Greg offers you the full range of architectural design services, or only those that apply to your particular project. It all starts with an interview at his office or on your site to determine the scope of the project and services you require.

What to expect while working with Greg:

A casual and comfortable working relationship. Communication is direct and simple. You deal with Greg on all aspects of your project.

Active listening. Greg will avoid preconceptions. Every project is unique. He brings ‘active listening’ to every meeting.

A search for inspiration. If you are planning a major project you have probably already discovered your source of inspiration. Your Inspiration, combined with Greg’s experience and understanding, will create your vision.

Clear communication. Once the project parameters are understood, pencil hits paper and the fun begins. Greg will provide sketches, models, photos, discussions—whatever is necessary to communicate the vision and alternative solutions.

Collaboration. Building requires the talents of many professionals. A variety of consultants may be called upon including surveyors, engineers, interior designers, landscape designers, and others. Greg’s role is to alert you to these needs, help you assemble a team, and coordinate and collaborate with everyone.

Execution. This is the most critical time to engage your architect. In order to preserve the original vision, avoid costly mistakes, and insure that you get what you were expecting. Greg has 30 years of construction experience gained through collaboration with talented builders and craftsmen.

Real and lasting value. The design will be a reflection of your values. We owe it to ourselves and others to design and build well. Greg brings caring and passion to the collaboration.
